Fun with 22’s

Every Tuesday night, until further notice, we are going to have Fun with 22’s.  The fun starts at 6:30 PM.  For more information, please contact Paul Larocque at plarocque216@gmail.com.

Trap Returns!!

Starting on April 24th, running through November 27th, Trap returns on Wednesday nights (weather permitting) 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  The season starts on the last Wednesday in April and typically runs to Thanksgiving. $4 per round. Even if you have never shot trap before, come and learn a new skill. All are welcome!  For more information, contact Will Contino at 508-867-5351.

Texas Hold’em

Every Friday night, until further notice, we are getting together for a little Texas Hold’em!  Sign up begins at 7 PM and play starts at 7:30 PM.  Proceeds from this event will help fund the Spring Fishing Derby.  For more information, contact Phil Courchaine at 508-867-5353.

Turkey Shoots

Starting March 23rd, and running through April 27th, on Saturday mornings, will we host Spring Turkey Shoots.  Sign ups are at 8:30 AM and the event starts at 9 AM.  For more information, please contact Brian Hayes at 508-320-9156.

August 24th – Edible Plant Walk

Rich Giordano will lead an edible plant walk at the North Brookfield Sportsmen’s Club 20 Boynton Rd North Brookfield. We will meet at 2:45PM. There is a recommended $5 donation to benefit the Sportsmen’s Club. 
Rich has been involved in horticulture for 24 years and recently retired from Old Sturbridge Village where he managed their botanical collections including the herb garden which was used for a variety of programs to educate thousands of visitors every year.  He also has been designing edible perennial forests at ‘All Hill Farm’ where he’s lived for 19 years. His knowledge of plants is quite eclectic. Rich specializes in odd ball edibles and among other things grows kiwis, figs, persimmons, paw paws, medlars, mullberrys, shipovas, chestnuts and nearly a thousand other food plants in his edible forest.For questions please contact Denise Raskett at 508-341-4767 or der303@cs.com.

August 24th – Annual Drover’s Roast

After taking a beautiful walk and learning about edible plants, join us for oThe 12th Annual Drover’s Roast, Hay Rides starting at 4pm, Appetizers at 5pm, followed by dinner. Donation is $25 per person with children’s portions available at half price. September 14th – Brownell’s NRA Day Basic Shooting Clinic

The North Brookfield Sportsman’s Club, The Gun Owners’ Action League, and The Gun Parlor are proud to present a Brownell’s/NRA Day Basic Shooting Clinic September 14, 2019 8:15am to 5:00pm At The North Brookfield Sportsman’s Club 20 Boynton Rd North Brookfield, MA 01535

If you have ever thought about trying your hand at recreational shooting, here is your opportunity! Come join us for a family friendly instructional shooting clinic. You will receive hands on instruction in archery, shotgun, rifle and pistol by the fun, friendly and knowledgeable folks at the North Brookfield Sportsmen’s Club. Everyone is invited to participate regardless of skill level. No previous experience is necessary; just the desire to learn and have fun. Successful completion of this event meets the requirements for application of a Massachusetts FID card or LTC. All equipment and student texts are included. Lunch and refreshments will be served!
